Welcome to Super Bowl Sunday.
Before we get started with all the hoopla surrounding the 44th contest, I want to stand up and say...
IT'S TIME TO GET SERIOUS!!
I have recently realized that I have become one of the things I don't care for. A liar. I haven't lied to a spouse, my family, or even a coworker. I have lied to the only person I will know all my life. And it disgusts me to no end.
I have a good life, don't get me wrong. I do. I have people who love me. I have a decent job. So why am I so determined to make the world, my world a better place? Because as the great Zig Zigler says "If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time."
So, whatever your doing, business or personally. Let's get serious after this moment. After tonight.
I am committed to being committed to getting the things done that must get done. For instance, I am going back to my roots in the coming weeks and will be recording my successes and my failures. For without failures, there would be not successes.
In my personal life, I am going to be committed to growing through good books and listening to information by good leaders/mentors. I am committed to learning more about my christian faith, and I am going to become more organized.
In my professional life, I am committed to blogging more, playing on twitter and facebook less, going back to the basics and creating the career I so desire.
As of tonight's contest, I don't have a choice. My son has been a New Orleans fan for several years. But I think maybe, just maybe the Saints will have a little help from a higher power. God knows the city deserves it.
So, moving forward I will become a man of action and in doing so I'm off to clean the floors. The question still remains...
What are you committed to doing this year?
Whatever it is, no matter what it takes, get it done!
